B2 ENGLISH TEST – 2023

The test

The purpose of the B2 computerised English test is to evaluate the candidates’ knowledge of English. It tests language usage, reading and listening comprehension.
The test lasts around 1 hour and 60% of correct answers is its cut-score. It will be administered remotely.

Who can sit the test?

The test, which is free of charge, is aimed at those students intending to apply for one of the following Master’s Degree Courses: Electronics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence
Engineering, Engineering for Industrial Sustainability. Only UNIMORE students and Alumni provided of UNIMORE username and password can sit the test. To get your UNIMORE username and password please follow the steps published in the guide downloadable from: https://www.unimore.it/servizistudenti/vediguida.html?gd=28
Candidates failing the test can retake it on another date, if available.

How to prepare for the test

Candidates are required to do some self-study and any material specific for the preparation of the Common European Framework of Reference B2 level is a good choice. Free B2 level activities:

Certificate

Candidates passing the test will receive a certificate that can be used to apply for one of the following Master’s Degree Courses: Electronics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence Engineering, Engineering for Industrial Sustainability.
